SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns -- 5/3/11:

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns -- 5/3/11:

I was reminded of the Israelites in Babylon when they hung their harps on the willows, and I heard the Lord say, "Many of you, My people, have not raised your voices in song or played your instruments because of the oppression of the times you live in. But, I am releasing you from bondage to sing a new song that will come forth with supernatural joy that will transcend your circumstances and afflictions. This is the joy that comes from abiding in the Spirit; the true joy of war and victory," says the Lord.

Psalm 137:1 By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept When we remembered Zion. We hung our harps upon the willows in the midst of it. For there those who carried us away captive asked of us a song, and those who plundered us requested mirth, saying, "Sing us one of the songs of Zion!" How shall we sing the LORD'S song In a foreign land? If I forget you, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget its skill!
