Prophetic Refreshing
There comes a time in every prophets life when they must step back if they are going to go forward. Unless you sit at the feet of Jesus you will have no more to give because you are putting out food for Gods people and it needs to be fresh food. There is a place of refreshing in God. There is a place for you to take time off and just enter into the presence of God. Letting go of all but the necessary things will bear fruit for the Kingdom of God. Often a prophet will feel that they are needed by His people but the truth is if you are going to be effective for Him then you need to sit regularly with Jesus and hear Him.
There is no greater joy than sitting before the Lord and waiting on Him. No greater joy than hearing His voice. No greater joy and it is worth more than money can buy. For the prophet of God one phrase from the Lord is like pure gold and brings such refreshing. One day we all who serve Him want to hear well done you good and faithful servant. Likewise now it is imperative to be faithful, obedient unto the death of the cross and speak only the Word of the Lord.
Prophet of God you know who you are and that you are tired. Take time with Me, prophet of God. Come aside for the refreshing of My Spirit and I will refresh you. Come and let Me pour in fresh oil and you will once again be used by Me. Right now sit and glean from Me. Sit and hear My still small voice. Come higher into My presence and know Me in a deeper way, says the Lord. I am speaking but often the cares of this world can clog that which I speak, so come closer, dig deeper and hear the voice of the Lord. Treasure My written word and intercede and as you wait on Me you will hear the still small voice of God.
