Ruffled Feathers!

RUFFLED FEATHERS!

God is using His apostles and prophets and others to exhort the body of Christ to come higher.  Many times a word goes out that is a sharp word and yet it is given in loving manner. How are you at receiving what the Lord sends your way? Do you get your feathers ruffled when you read or hear a word or are you able to receive what the Spirit is saying to His church. Your ability to receive will greatly affect your service to God and the lack thereof can over time harden your heart.

Pray for a teachable spirit and that you are able to hear what the Spirit is saying to His church for your life may one day depend on it. Quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to get angry wins the race.

12 Take heed, brethren, lest haply there shall be in any one of you an evil heart of unbelief, in falling away from the living God:  13 but exhort one another day by day, so long as it is called To-day; lest any one of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin:  14 for we are become partakers of Christ, if we hold fast the beginning of our confidence firm unto the end:  15 while it is said, To-day if ye shall hear his voice, Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation. Hebrews 3:12-15

Sleepy Eyes On Your Watch!

CALLED FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS

Sleepy Eyes On Your Watch!

This morning I read a headline that read, "Sleepy eyes on nations skies". Air traffic controllers have been dozing on the job and then I heard, "it is the same in the Kingdom of God". Many of you are called "intercessors" and are to be on the wall before the Lord. You are one who God called to be in place to watch over the things Father entrusts to you. That brings me to the next question. Are you sleeping on the job? Are you alert and watching in the spirit or are you like a few of the air traffic controllers asleep at the helm?

When we drive to my mothers on an old country road there is a tall tower along the way. One could climb up it if they were extremely fit. Each time in seeing it, it makes me think of an intercessors place in the spirit. One can see in the distance from above in all directions and so can you when you are before God seeing in the Spirit.

Lives depend on you! You might say, "God will raise up another" and perhaps you have become half hearted about being one of God's intercessors. Day time seems like a good time to pray but you really do dislike being wakened up from your sleep or you do wake up, roll over and are too tired to rise and intercede.

With human eyes it does seem like a thankless place where no one sees what you are doing. Most of what you see you do not share and there seems to be little recognition. Do you not think Father knows all this and yet He has called YOU. When you do rise and pray, He is right there with you just waiting to share His secrets with you. Let Father refresh you.

Wipe the slumber from your eyes, man or woman of God. Wash your face if need be and WAKE UP. The WAKE UP call is going out! Will you be available to the Lord when He needs you? You are of value and one cannot put a price on a true intercessor. You perhaps do not feel you are getting far in this area of your life and that you fail. Repent, pick up the pieces and determine in your heart to be what God has called you to be. Intercessor you are needed by the Father. You have a job to do for the Kingdom of God. Lives depend on your being alert and on the wall. It is kind of like firefighters. They may sleep in the hall but when the alarm goes off they are awake immediately and report for duty.

Prophets are intercessors and if you are going to fulfill your prophetic commission you need to be on your face before the Lord more than just a few moments each day. You need to have your eyes open to see and ears open to hear for only then can you bring fresh manna to God's people. Let us all get some fresh determination to do the things that are needful. Like Martha you can be busy about so very much. Is it all needful or do you need to do an evaluation of the priorities in your life. Take your eyes off your own situation and put it on others. If you were to stand before the Lord tomorrow what would you rather be doing today. Spending time with Father would be your first priority and making sure all things in your heart are right. You have been given life today.

Only in living life to the fullest, in being that prophetic/intercessor God has called you to be will you find true happiness fulfilling your place in the Kingdom of God.

And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none. Ezekiel 22:30

A Little Word Of Wisdom

A Little Word Of Wisdom

Today I read something online which deeply troubled me. Someone in prophetic ministry used a comment that was so worldly that I paused. We are not to judge but sometimes things are just plainly obvious. We are in this world and not of it and really need to refrain from using lustful terms in our vocabulary. This does not mean that as a people of God we are not to live life to the fullest but at the same time we need to ask ourselves, "Would Jesus say this"? Sanctify our tongues Lord. Let us glorify you in all manner of conversation.

15But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
16Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. 1 Peter 1:15

Posting Prophetic Words Without Hope of Financial Gain

THE WORD OF THE LORD

I am deeply troubled over those that put out a word whether it be prophetic or any other and at the bottom of the word that goes out to others sights have put a place of payment at the bottom, so that you can send them money. I am aware there can be exceptions i.e. for missions etc but this should never be done at the bottom of a prophetic word.

I am not speaking of those that have a pay pal on their site. This is different. Also in giving a prophetic word it is to be freely given. If given in a church service and the church collects an offering for the one ministering that is good.

I recall an apostle ministering in a church. A woman gave him some money before he prophesied. He said that the Word of the Lord could not be bought and so in front of her he took the money and in view of everyone put it in the offering plate. Then the Lord told Him not to prophecy to this woman. She was upset but the prophet said the Lord could not be bought. This is not to say that one cannot buy a tape for 3$s for the cost of the tape with your word printed on it after the service. This apostle/prophet whose ministry we know well has an ministy of integrity that has been for some thirty years and they have ministered for many more than forty years.

Perhaps its time that we glean from those whose ministry has stood without blemish and stood the test of time.

The prophetic word is a word given by the Lord through an instrument and should not have a mode of payment at the bottom of the page. Freely you have received and freely give.

The church needs to get back to the basics. I think the apostle Paul would have shuddered had he seen some of the practices that are going on today in Christian circles.

As a church we need to clean up our act, search our hearts and realize that the Lord is quite capable of providing for the needs of His ministry.

God is faithful and will not have us beg bread. The prophetic word has been freely given and it needs to go out with no mode of financial hope at the bottom of it. We should not be trying to make a buck at the bottom of a Word from the Lord.

We need to fear of the Lord for it is the beginning of wisdom. Judgment first starts at the household of God and now is the time that we need to be hearing His voice.

Put the Word of the Lord out on its own and it will stand. God will provide what you need without your having to add a click on in hope of receiving finances.

Prophets need to come to a high standard of integrity in this hour if we are going to be seen as anything different than the word.

Lets raise the standard today and ask the Lord what He is asking us to do and than with His grace do it.

I pray that the Lord bless your ministry and bring in all that He intends you to have to do His Work.

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19
