The words;

have been playing themselves over in my mind.

As I have pondered them and have allowed the Voice of the Holy Spirit to instruct me as to why I have been impressed with this rather unwavering statement I sense the Lord addressing many deeper issues that are well anchored and maintained within our souls as believers.

HARSH WINDS
These blustery currents in the natural can be devastating to property, trees, and all living-breathing creatures. We have all seen what the devastation of hurricanes and tornadoes can do in a very short amount of time.
Often when listening to the traumatic stories of those who have lived through a nightmarish storm, the realities of what they hold near and dear have been laid bare and brought to the surface. Many weep over the loss of family photographs or tender things like Grandma s old chipped china and are unconcerned about larger material items, but are deeply thankful for the safety of family members after a traumatic event.
Others, are shaking fists at the sky and are enraged that they have been infringed upon during a difficult time, and want somebody else to pay for it!

THE HARSH WINDS OF LIFE...
... BLOW UPON THE GODLY AND THE UNGODLY.
NO ONE IS EXEMPT.
There are some of life's storms that threaten to blow away everything we've depended on as well.
Friendships are tested, relationships are strained, and the Lord uses these harsh winds blowing against our lives to remove the crusty chaff that can form and harden around the seed of our lives.
Those who are independent in nature find a bitterness creeping into their attitudes and heart. They feel infringed upon when things are not easily controlled or maneuvered in their favor. And so, the Holy Spirit allows the winds to blow until a conviction penetrates the self centered soul and exposes the fleshy comfort zone of,"My Way, My World, My Rights" !
No man has power over the wind to contain it;
so no one has power over the day of his death.
As no one is discharged in time of war,
so wickedness will not release those who practice it.
Ecclesiastes 8:8

HOW LONG WILL THE HARSH WINDS BLOW?
As long as we practice wicked behavior in the eyes of the Lord, and no matter how hard we try, we cannot stop it!

He is winnowing us, allowing us to be caught up into the refining wind of the Holy Spirit's conviction so that the chaff and waste places in our souls is removed.
(Yes you can say "ouch" right about now!)

CHAFF MUST GO!
WHY?
Chaff is a waste material plowed into the soil or burned.
Chaff, as a waste product from grain processing, shows us a symbolic use of the idea that refers to something seen as worthless.
This is where we read, "to separate the wheat from the chaff" from Matthew 3. It means to separate things of value from things of no value. Another example is in Psalm 1 which says: "Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away".
We Christians often presume that because we are redeemed through the beautiful sacrifice of Christ for our lives, that we have an opportunity for an easier and more privileged life.
This is simply not so! We are given a shield and a holy stamina to withstand the wiles of this world, but no free passes to a life of ease.

THE LORD LOVES ALL OF MANKIND
He longs for ALL of mankind, (that includes you and I) to come to a place of trust in His way not our way. Fully stripped of self-will, self-gratification, self- justification, and self-focus.
"He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good,
and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous."
Matthew 5:45

I KNOW! I KNOW!
THIS STINGS!
"But if you harbor bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts,
do not boast about it or deny the truth."
James 3:14
I can hear a few righteous folks saying, "I would never boast about envy!"
Well! Selfish ambition is well hidden in our personal behaviors.
We offer gifts or opportunities for others to be blessed or helped as long as we are feeling in control and benevolent at the time of the offer or good intention. But when the winds of life shift and the Lord allows the chaff of "waste materials" of our soul to be Tornadoed -bitterness and exclusive rights abound!
Huffiness, abrupt harshness and passive aggression will manifest and expose the soul's clinging nature which does not want the hand of God striping away any safety veneer that we use to protect our approach to life.
A CHANGE IN THE SPIRITUAL CLIMATE HAS OCCURRED!
"A strong wind was blowing,
And the waters grew rough."
John 6:18
Jesus allowed the wind to be a teaching point for his disciples.
They had walked with Him, talked with Him and served alongside Him. But trusting Him when the Storms and Harsh winds blew reveal a weakness that we all must look at, and often. We trust the Lord when things are going our way, but when the Harshness of a storm blows us off the course that we set, many times we run to our own devices or Plan B.
So many at this time in this difficult age are screaming...
Lord! Don t you care about me? The winds are blowing, and I am fearful for my life! If you Love me, why are you allowing this horrid event to occur?
Even Peter in his zeal to get out a boat and see if it was indeed Jesus calling to him to come, once he was out of the safety of his own control and the winds blew against him, he focused on it, and not upon Jesus, who was there the whole time. Peter cries out, "LORD I am Perishing SAVE ME!!
CONTROL IS A DEEP, DEEP NEED
Perhaps the deepest need people have is for control. When we feel out of control, we experience a powerful and uncomfortable tension between the need for control and the evidence of inadequate control.
Without the Presence of God in our lives we will attempt to control everything, every event and every person around us in order to attain the sense of order that we crave.
DRAWING NEAR TO GOD
It was James, the brother of Jesus, who wrote to the believers in Jerusalem,
"Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.
Cleanse your hands, sinners, and purify your hearts, double- minded people!"
James 4:8
If we draw near to God, he will respond and draw near to us. Drawing near to God is spending time with Him, worshiping Him, praying and talking to Him, inviting Him into every aspect of our lives.

BRING YOUR HEART UNDER HIS LORDSHIP
James then gives us the blueprint for drawing near. If you've committed sin, confess it, get rid of it.
Next, ask the Lord to examine your heart, your motives, and the things that make you do what you do.
Bring your heart under His lordship as well.
May our actions be manifestations of a clean heart and conscience.
Allow HIM to remove the Chaff, the wasted time controlling things, and TRUST Him to align your life.
Notice that when he writes about this he says, "Purify your hearts, double-minded people."
What does he mean by "double-minded"?
A person who is double-minded is drawn in two completely different directions.
And so he or she will get nowhere fast because loyalty is divided and they will vacillate between faith and unbelief. A double-minded person is unstable in all his/her ways and his/her spiritual walk is inconsistent because he/she tries to serve God and his/her own interests and gamble their life against the Harsh Winds.

We've all learned that this kind of living never works.
You cannot serve two masters.

GOD DOESN'T PLAY GAMES!
No one is going to get very far with God by playing spiritual games. It will soon be discovered that the only people playing the game with you will be me, myself, and I.

It's just like people thinking that they can "ride the fence" into the kingdom. There is no riding the fence, there is no lukewarm support group you're either in or out. If we really want to know Him, we are going to have to get serious about our relationship with Him.

A MOMENT IN HIS ANGER -
- A LIFETIME IN HIS FAVOR.
God disciplines for a moment when He wishes to get our attention and our lives may indeed become painful for a period, but then comes His favor.

God doesn't delight in either our depression or our damage. When He begins to deal with the chaff in our lives, it is for our advantage, that we may be conformed to His likeness and reflect His holiness.
When we sense God s disapproval, when it appears He has withdrawn from us, it is only so that we see our utter need of Him.
When life seems to be so sour, when everything crumbles, we must remember what we say we believe, that God s favor is with us, because of Christ s worthiness given to us, because we are adopted and His - which means that His favor always wins out over His disapproval.
This picture is painted well by the words "Weeping remains for a night." Weeping and sorrow are pictured as a traveler who comes to stay for a night. The pain and sorrow we feel may seem as though it has moved in with us like an unwelcomed guest who decides to stay for a very long time.

BUT, REJOICING COMES IN THE MORNING.
Your mourning will dissipate in the morning. Your winter will melt into summer. God will replace your sighing with singing. Grief will give way to gladness. What was once bitter will be made sweet, What was once a desolate wilderness will be transformed into a paradise.
Like the first rays of the sunrise which dispel the harsh winds and gloom of night, God gives us joy when the darkness of our problems seem as though they ll never leave.

YOUR CROSS HIS GLORY
What is so crucial to understand is that as a Christian, your life will be filled with times of weakness and strength, with want and wealth, with disgrace and honor, with crosses and comforts, miseries and mercies, joys and sorrows, delight and mourning. And as this cycle of separating Chaff from our lives reoccurs many times in our lives it moves us from the cross to glory.
For your own health and so that you find all your satisfaction in Christ alone, God will send you times of great growth and other times of emptiness.
When the harsh winds blow, know that God desires that you find your hope and comfort by His own fire.
When the balmy breezes come, give Him praise and thanksgiving for the warmth He provides.
"Have mercy on me, O God, have mercy on me,
for in you my soul takes refuge.
I will take refuge in the shadow of your wings until the disaster has passed."
Psalm 57:1

FRESH MANNA

Seek Me early each day.  You will find fresh manna that I have provided just for you.  Feast on My words to you.  They are life and will lead you in the way you should go and the thing you should do.  My words will be fresh and new each day and enough to get you through.  Come back to My table each morning, and I will fill you again.  You will become strong in Me day by day, and little by little you shall overcome all.


Deuteronomy 8:

3 And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord doth man live.

Standing Against The Jezebel Spirit

STANDING AGAINST THE JEZEBEL SPIRIT

The day will come when you will find yourself in the pathway of one with the spirit of jezebel. Sometimes it is in a man but most often you will find this spirit working through a woman. It is a seducing spirit and one of control. This spirit when it discovers who you are in Christ becomes very underhanded attempting to tear down your work in the Lord. It tries to make you doubt who you are in Christ and is the accuser of the brethren.  You can never please the jezebel spirit or any evil spirit and you need to stand against it  and its arsenal of witchcraft.



Little innuendos that always puff themselves up, put you down by criticism and sow doubt spew out of their mouth toward you. They always have a better way of doing things. Out of the mouth of the unsaved it will say the word of God is past. No it is light and life and more up to date than today's newspaper. It will accuse what you are doing in Christ and even send another to spy you out when they are not capable of doing so themselves. Basically they despise the true things of God and when they find out you are a prophet or prophetess of the Lord all hell breaks loose. Up till that time they are controlling but then all the guns come out against you as its religious spirit attacks.



Beloved stand guard and be warned that as you come against this spirit you need to stand strong and do not back down.  Remember Elisha's victory as jezebel came tumbling down.  This is what  need to happen in the spirit realm.  That demon spirit can be torn down from the heavenlies being broken of regions as well as people as His church corporately intercedes for wisdom to deal with this spirit.  In the multitude of counselors there is safety and also wisdom.



Those that need delivered from this spirit will not be delivered unless they are willing to submit to those in authority over them, repent of their sin and walk in humility before God and man.  Only then can this spirit be cast out of them.  In some cases they first need to be born again by the Spirit of God.



This spirit will peck at you and put you down continually as it puffs the one with it up.  If you have an area of your life where you have difficulty or not done according to their perfectionist spirit they will peck at you as a woman who pecks at her husband constantly.  It looks for any area of weakness in your life.  It attacks the true prophet of God and we need to be warned again against it.



It can flatter to dig its talons into you and you need to be filled with the Spirit to fight this battle. Condemnation is one of its weapons and you need to refuse condemnation and thwart it in the name of Jesus.  Remember that there is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.  (Romans 8:1)



Through the discerning of spirits God is revealing this spirit to His body and there are those that are discerning when it is in their midst. This spirit hated Elijah and did not like the all out assault he waged and won against the prophets of Baal and it does not like you.  Keep up your guard and ask Father God to send others your way also to help battle against this spirit.  It will often say, you do not have to be answerable to any man and no man is going to tell me what to do. It is in rebellion against all true authority set in the Word of God. The Spirit of God says the opposite, submit to those that are in authority over you, walk in humility and submit to one another in the fear of God, esteeming others better than themselves.


We are to walk in an opposite spirit in fear and submission to the Lord.  Praying without ceasing, in the spirit that we will know how to answer every man.  Jezebels Kingdom is coming down.  Arise and fight the battle being wise as serpents and harmless as doves.  The Lord is faithful and will help you to wage this war wisely and win. Christ will be exalted and the devils kingdoms are coming down.  We serve a God who is all powerful who has given us weapons of warfare to fight the battle and win.  We are over comers who walk covered by the blood of the Lamb and love not our lives to the death.  Stand in the power of the Lord your God, resist the devil and He will flee from you.  Victory is assured in Christ alone and by the blood of Jesus we overcome.  Overcome Beloved by the blood of the Lamb and the Word of your testimony.

IF THE WORLD HATE YOU


Do not fear.  I know all who are Mine. Your heart is given fully unto Me.  You seek Me for I Am your treasure, your pearl of great price for which you have given up the things of this world.  You worship and minister unto Me.  You are My called and chosen ones. I have given you instructions for service unto Me. You sense that now is the time to launch forth and are attempting to carry out the vision that I have placed in your heart.  But you have been met with great adversity.  You have become the recipient of great contempt and even hatred from those who you thought would help you. Do not be discouraged or think that those of the enemy have the power to thwart you.  I Am with you and will use all things for your good.  Follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, and you will see My hand make your way.  It is done!   


John 15:

“It is important for you to know that everything is and will be determined by what you will follow after and who you will serve. If you live after my truth you will find an open access to many things that you would never thought otherwise will be available and accessible to you because you first sought after the things of my kingdom and my righteousness.”

“So I speak to your hearts today because it is vitally important what you will believe and what you will declare as truth. For many are following after deceptions, that will find themselves later looking for ways to get out of what has held them captive. So you must believe and follow by faith the course that I am leading you through and as you follow you will know and understand that my way is sure, for my course for your life is direct. These principles along these lines are simple and not complex.”

“In the future days you will see troubling events that will occur and even challenge many with fear because of the uncertainty of their future. But this is the time where your faith will secure your understanding as to why so many things are now occurring. The actions and choices of nations have come up before me and the time of assessment has been determined. The circumstances that surround many nations had to do with the evil determination of a few. But also know that the majority had as much a part in it as well. It was selfishness, pride, corruption and the apathy that many people have had, for they did not care about what was going on, until the trouble came to their own door.”

“In the very midst of this, I have a plan and I have a way to change the course of how this nation is going and is going to be restored in a new way on the other side of the turmoil. As you move forward know that I have called you to pray, called you to conquer, to fulfill the works of my plan. I am raising you up not to allow you to be destroyed but to be the key fulfillment of these things. For these things will not be played out in the mind of those setting the plans of this world, they have been established in the heavens and they will be come to pass according to my word.”

“How will you know? You will know because I will reveal it to you in my word; and I have also written it upon the tablets of your heart. As these things will unfold you will know what to do and you will find the things that you needed the most come to pass by your faith in me, your life in me, and your walk in me. This will be a time that even in the midst of evil men setting out to implement their plans but my plans will also be carried out and within those very plans I will make ways of escape, the new ways of access, open doors and entry ways into the fulfillment of that which I have determined before the foundation of the world. So you will know that in the midst of everything you see and you witness in this hour, I have a counterplan, a way of deliverance, I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. Whatever you will need I will provide for I will prepare the way for you in even in barrenness so that you may know that I am your God and your redeemer, says the Lord. So you must know that my plan for you is sure and it will walk you through as you follow me.”

“So be diligent don’t draw back, don’t allow the atmosphere to dictate your feelings, don’t let the negativity of men’s words move you to falter. I have established a will and a way but when you hear my instructions be quick to take heed and quick to obey all of my words, which I speak to you in this hour. This is the time to not allow petty differences, nor to allow bitterness to set in and pollute your soul. Read and study my word, allow it to become a part of you, allow it to open up to you mysteries that will unlock my truths before you. Increase your capacity to receive my new life. Drink it in as new wine to purify and cleanse you. Know that the old containers that once held old religious mindsets and old stubborn ways will not be able to contain the new wine of My Spirit that will flow freely to you in this hour.”

“For there will be a day that I will prepare the time for the wedding feast. In you I am saving the best wine for last. It was the beginning of a poured out life by my servants. As the wine comes forth out of water, know I will fill my vessels and they will be filled up to overflowing, with new life, new purpose and new understanding.”

“Humble yourselves in a new way rending your hearts and not your garments and know I am able to line up your life so that the hour of your destiny may be realized. For even when the children of Israel were being delivered out of the land; the Egyptians were being judged. What will seem to be a way of escape to one people was the beginning of a judgment to others. I have a plan and that plan will come forth, I have a provision even in a time of famine.”

“This month will be the month where you will witness me move supernaturally through your natural circumstances that you have experienced for long periods of time. You were not able to overcome but you will now breakthrough. You will know that your faith and diligence have finally brought you to the place that I had prepared for you. Look for suddenlies for they will come forth at this time. You must stay in watch & prayer mode, fasting & watching mode, and prayer & fasting mode. It will keep you alert and ready for all that will happen in this season.”

“Just as seeds are planted for the harvest, what you have sown has taken root and is now bearing fruit.  This is a time when your seeds will yield their rewards. For those who have sown your time, your work, and your life for the sake of the gospel will be rewarded. Your labor of love has not been in vain for those of you who have continuously given into the kingdom work and you will see that harvest now. In fact, in this time you will begin to see the reaper overtake the sower. 

Psalm 126:5,6, “They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goes forth and weeps, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.”

“Even seeds sown will reap an accelerated harvest as quick as it is sown. It is not a time to become overly excited about what you have, but it’s important that you continue to accomplish what you have been instructed to do. There are some things that will be unavoidable but begin to think differently so that you will know the proper timing of how and when to do a thing because I will be leading you and guiding you. Remember and always be reminded, that I have placed in you all that you need.”

“I am about to sweep nations to judge and to dispel confusion in your midst and to restore clarity and provide cleansing. I am about to sweep over the land with my anointing to break bondages and to release a wave of evangelism to touch men’s souls that will cry out to me, says the Lord. I am reconciling all those who seek reconciliation with my life, my light, and my glory.”

Isaiah 14:23 New Living Translation “I will make Babylon a desolate place of owls, filled with swamps and marshes. I will sweep the land with the broom of destruction. I, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, have spoken!”
Isaiah 44:22 “I have swept away your sins like a cloud. I have scattered your offenses like the morning mist. Oh, return to me, for I have paid the price to set you free.”

Prophetic Insights:

The Lord began to share with me some principles that will be emphasized during this month. They were shown to me on a very simple level concerning sowing and reaping. Many times when people hear this term the first thing that they might think about is sowing financially but the emphasis here is on a totally different level. In fact in this instance sowing has to do with what we give ourselves to and what we sow our lives into instead of money.  The Lord pointed out these scriptures. 

Galatians 6:4-10 “But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. 5 For every man shall bear his own burden. 6 Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things. 7 Be not deceived ; God is not mocked : for whatsoever a man soweth , that shall he also reap . 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. 9 And let us not be weary in well doing : for in due season we shall reap , if we faint not. 10 As we have therefore * opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.”

We give ourselves to many things, our interests, our belief systems, our time and even levels of commitment. It is important that we begin to take heed as to what we have sown in our lives. There will always be a day that we will be ultimately accountable for the things that we chose to do, think, give into, and sow into---as there will always come times when what we have sown will produce a harvest and we will then reap the benefits or consequences of what has been sown. This principle is carried in God’s word to us individually, as family, as a people, as a nation and so on.
We are in the throes of that time in this month of July. It is a time of times, when the consequences of men’s behavior, lifestyles and decisions will lead to an end result whether right or wrong. The good news is the Lord God has also made some decisions: His love for his people has been long suffering and the time now comes to deal with the issues of the day whether they will be reaped with joy or regret, by the mercies of God will always have a redemptive plan. So in spite of who we are and what we have done if we repent and humble ourselves, our Lord is faithful to forgive us of our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. But the door of that grace is narrowing and we must now make our calling and election sure.

2 Peter 1:5-11 NIV For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But if anyone does not have them, he is nearsighted and blind, and has forgotten that he has been cleansed from his past sins. Therefore, my brothers, be all the more eager to make your calling and election sure. For if you do these things, you will never fall, and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Prophetic Intercession

I have had several dreams/visions with bombings. War plans between nations have not lifted from off my radar. Even though there are many theories as to the seriousness of possible wars, I am continuing to watch Russia and the US because no matter what may appear outwardly the undercurrent of the conflict between both nations will be revealed.

I had two very vivid dreams recently:

Dream #1:I was in a special meeting with authorities on seismology and they were trying to understand the various violent earthquake activity. It seemed that there had been quite a few earthquakes of high magnitudes occurring in a succession of each other. This seem to be within the US. However there were other areas that were experiencing the same activity.

Dream #2:I was in a building with watchmen and intercessors and the group was discussing strategies. One of those whose appearance was angelic-like began to speak to the group and said this was a serious time to press in and not ease up in our endeavors to pray without ceasing. The angel said that many groups were assuming that other groups were taking the lead in prayer but that the productivity level was not as high as it should be. So we all recommitted to increase our prayer times and intensity. We got ready to leave the meeting and the angel who had been speaking in the meeting said to me: “Don’t be concerned----Payday is coming!” It was repeated, “Did you hear me? Payday is coming!!” ( I knew that those words had a deeper significance than money.)

In prayer the Lord spoke to me about the former UN secretary general negotiations concerning peace agreements. He let me know that these agreements should be a cause for prayer. God made me aware that the one negotiating them could not be trusted. (At the time I aware of any discussions but I just recently found out about several nations discussing peace relations with Syria) Let’s be on watch and prayer mode.
The Lord said, “That there will be pacts and agreements discussed and some even agreed upon but before the ink dries on the paper there would be broken promises and with no loyalties.”
