DO NOT FEAR THE DARKNESS


Do not fear the darkness even as it grows deeper.  You are in My light and will shine forth ever brighter.  You will shine forth with My love and truth.  Many will come unto the light and find the way.  Remember it is always darkest before the dawn.  A new day is coming!  Do not despair for these are days of glory, and the power of My hand shall be seen and known!


Daniel 12:

And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

Be Still And Know That He Is God

BE STILL AND KNOW THAT HE IS GOD

Today there is no thought of going online and reading any news.  This is a day to hide indoors with my Father in heaven and hear His still small voice.  Many voices are speaking in this hour and it is overwhelming if one does not know the word of  God.  Then for those prophetic voices who want to hear the Lord clearly we realize we cannot be reading other prophetic words as we need to be sure we are hearing clearly from God ourselves.  

Today it is inclement weather, winter is here and the bible says so long as the earth exists, sowing time and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, and day and night will not cease. Looking outside through my patio doors I am actually enjoying seeing the snow fall in what is the first real winter snow storm.  Last night it rained and so we have had a mixture of snow and freezing rain till this morning. 

It is a great indoor day to get ever closer to the Lord.  To shut out the world and all the crying voices, even for just a moment.  Silence is at times golden.  No television but the clock ticking on the wall reminding me to redeem the time because the days are evil.  As I came downstairs this morning it was and still is my intent to dig into the Word of God and sit with my heavenly Father.  How good is our God to sometimes send us blustery, cold winter days to give us time indoors with Him.

Yes, there is much to prepare for, but the preparation of our hearts is the most important.  Many are stressed and feeling the pressures of the season, and the pressures brought to bear with all that is going on in this world.  Father sees it all and we must sit with Him to see it through His eyes.  He is a God who never slumbers or sleeps.  We are reminded of the disciples who fell asleep when they were to be watching with Jesus and could not watch even one hour.  Today it is my intent though the flesh is weak to sit with Father and just enjoy His presence.  Asking for nothing but being thankful for who He is.  

Are you thankful today for who Jesus is and what He has done in your life?  Then why not take time aside from your busy schedule, stop what you are doing if you are able, if not now but sometime today and just thank Jesus, for the price paid for your freedom.  Truly He paid the price in full and has done much in our lives.  Let us praise Him today for who He is and see the glory of the Lord manifested in our lives.

Of one thing we may be sure; we can never escape the external stimuli that cause vexation. The world is full of them and though we were to retreat to a cave and live the remainder of our days alone, we still could not lose them. The rough floor of our cave would chafe us, the weather would irritate us and the very silence would cause us to fret.

Deliverance from a fretting spirit may be by blood and fire, by humility, self-abnegation and a patient carrying of the cross. There will always be "evildoers" and "workers of iniquity," and for the most part they will appear to succeed while the forces of righteousness will seem to fail. The wicked will always have the money and the talent and the publicity and the numbers, while the righteous will be few and poor and unknown. The prayerless Christian will surely misread the signs and fret against the circumstances. That is what the Spirit warns us against.

Let us look out calmly upon the world; or better yet, let us look down upon it from above where Christ is seated and we are seated in Him. Though the wicked spread himself like "a green tree in its native soil" (Psalm 37:35), it is only for a moment. Soon he passes away and is not. But "the salvation of the righteous comes from the LORD; he is their stronghold in time of trouble" (verse 39). This knowledge should cure the fretting spirit.

It is important that we are not distracted from that which Father has called us to do. When He has called you to pray and intercede it is important that you continue to do so. The battle is on and the enemy is trying to distract God's people with much havoc in everyday life. Many are going through large battles at this present time. It seems that there is extreme pressure being brought to bear upon many who belong to the Lord and it is time that we come to terms with the truth that grace is only given as each new day arrives. We are told not to think of tomorrow because today has sufficient evil.

We see this is so true as this past week's events have unfolded in the terrible massacre of innocent little children as well as adults in the quiet town of Newtown, Connecticut. One cannot wrap their mind around the evil that has occurred and we truly need to hold on to Jesus and reach out to others. We need to be a comfort in this time of deep wounding that has struck into the heart of the nation. Not only America has been touched by this senseless act but we across the border in Canada have wept tears of sorrow with you and are praying.

It is time for us to come together as one body and lift our voices heavenward to the Lord who is the God of all comfort. Truly there is no other place to turn to at a time like this. We have to move forward and at the same time grieve the loss of precious lives.

What is our part in protecting our respective nations. We are told to watch and pray and so we must continue to do so. Also to walk in love toward those that are outside and redeem the time because the days are evil. I am weeping in writing this for truly any innocence left in the nation is gone. Yet, we as precious believers must lead as light and truth and let our light shine in the darkness of this world. Jesus said, ¹⁴ “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Matt. 5:14 (NKJV)

This morning I was reminded that we must live one day at a time and that grace is there for this day alone. Manna in the wilderness was provided one day at a time and we to must daily feed on the Word of God for help and strength in this time of trouble. Let us love one another with a pure heart and be willing to reach out to others during this difficult season that has affected so many lives. Weeping endures for a night but joy comes in the morning. Let us pray that through these circumstances those that do not know Jesus come to know Him as their Saviour and Lord. Indeed He is their help in this time of trouble.

Let us continue to be on guard, watch and pray for that which the Lord lays on our heart and take time to hear His still small voice asking Father God to order our steps for each new day.

Let us pray Psalm 91 over our homes, families and nations and continue without doubt to TRUST IN THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1

Like everyone else with any sense of compassion, I am profoundly grieved at the tragedy of twenty children and seven adults murdered in Newtown, Connecticut. Many of us are asking why? It seems so senseless, so incomprehensible that someone would visit such murderous impulses on innocent children barely out of infancy. Know and understand that this incident is not the judgment of God. Matthew 18:10 says, “their angels in heaven continually see the face of My Father who is in heaven.” I would have difficulty understanding what kind of heartless religious spirit would say that children were killed as a result of the judgment of God, although I know that some will.

Historically, when a society sickens, its sickness tends to express itself in extreme and concentrated ways through individuals vulnerable to its influence or predisposed to wickedness. It would be something like a systemic infection erupting in a focused way through a pimple or a boil. For example, Germany’s societal illness following the humiliation of their defeat in the First World War found concentrated expression in the evil of Adolf Hitler. The reparations – vengeance – the victorious allies imposed contributed to that sickness and paved the way for what came later. Consequently millions of people suffered and died. Many tried to blame Hitler as if the entire burden of guilt were his, but the failure of the allies to forgive had something to do with it and Germany as a whole had to bear its collective responsibility. Corporate sin found a conduit in an evil man who expressed it in concentrated form.

Thus it is today in America as we see incidents of senseless mass killings increase in frequency. We may comfort ourselves with the thought that we are a good people and that these things are being done by demented and evil individuals, but this doesn’t answer the question of why this kind of thing simply did not happen prior to twenty years ago. It does not tell us why this seems to be accelerating in frequency now. Gun control is not the answer because guns are not the cause. Americans have always owned guns but until recent history we have not had to worry about being fired upon in a theater, a mall or a school. Guns are not the problem. The problem lies in the heart of our society and in our cultural decay.

Matthew 24:12 reads, “Because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will grow cold.” The spirit of lawlessness is loose in the land. From government to populace, we as a society have chosen to ignore, even to reject, God’s clearly stated laws, moral standards and principles, choosing a culture of self rather than a culture of selflessness. In the name of freedom we call evil good and good evil. True integrity is in short supply. We can’t even trust our elected officials to obey the laws they have sworn to uphold. Historically, while we may not always have actually behaved as righteous people in this nation, we at least acknowledged the truth of God’s moral standards and understood what righteousness is. We no longer do, while those who actually take a stand for God’s truth are considered to be dangerous, intolerant, judgmental or too far to the right to be taken seriously.
Now we pay the price as our societal lawlessness and the consequent erosion of love make possible this proliferation of heinous crimes, shootings in malls, theaters and schools. Our collective sin and lawlessness find concentrated expression in a few demented individuals whose depravity is freed to erupt in violence because our corporate lawlessness has weakened the structures of society spiritually and morally that would restrain it. In that sense, we all share responsibility for these tragedies. I see it as the cumulative effect of broken marriages, fornication, adultery, deception and corruption at every level of our culture. The structures of society that produce whole people are broken. Broken people do broken things.

We will see more of these tragedies. In my books I have written of the destructive effect of the culture of self we’ve cultivated in this nation. Conscience, based in primary care and concern for the welfare of others, dies when self-focus leads to lawlessness and lawlessness leads to lovelessness. This opens the door to demonic influence. I wrote in VISIONS OF THE COMING DAYS that we would soon see an upsurge in demonic activity as a result of drug abuse, sexual immorality and rebellion against the laws and principles of God as expressed in Scripture. Tragedies like this most recent one bear the marks of demonic inspiration. Our collective rejection of God’s laws and principles opens the door for this.

What must we as Christians do? It’s time to take issues of biblical righteousness and integrity seriously. It’s past time to preach the gospel of salvation in Jesus Christ who captivates hearts and changes lives until they conform to the image of the Son. It’s long past time that we cleanse ourselves of the culture of self and learn to know the selflessness of our Lord and the power of the cross. It’s time to become real Christians.

Victory is Assured

Many in the body of Christ are walking in discouragement this morning because of hard times. You have not yet seen the answers to many of the prayers you have prayed and the enemy has tried to come in like a flood with his lies. Now is the time, this very moment to decide that you will walk in victory. You are not defeated! You are a people of God that are called by His name, for His purposes and for this time. Much is yet to be done to see the Kingdom of God come forth and fully manifest in the earth. 
 
Many are suffering and you will be used to alleviate much of that suffering with that which I have put in your hands. You have been given much and have the ability to help in the little things of daily life that make a big difference. Perhaps it is a word in season to someone that lifts their spirit. Perhaps it is just being a good listener. Ask Me how I can use you! You will see open doors and in ministering to others you will not be thinking of your own needs.

I will supply as you praise My holy name and reach out to others. I am Lord of All and have all things in My hands. I know what is going on in this world and you are not to fear but walk in faith and wait on Me. Yes, My Beloveds take time to wait on Me. Many of you are finding it hard to be still. Many of you are fearing the future but I say to you I am your future and hope. Do not be discouraged but take hold of My Word and dig into it without laziness and you will find your answers. Submit to one another in the fear of God and do not let go. Esteem your brothers and sisters highly in the Lord and see their heart. Break bread together and remember the price I paid on the cross till I come. The Day of the Lord is at hand. Serve Me diligently and you will see me move.

“I have called upon you this day to witness my power and my glory. I am calling upon you this day to partake in my plan, and to complete my purpose in a world that has grown weary. I say to you today don’t give up because of the ground of great despair and worry. What many look upon as a breeding ground for destruction, anger and frustration—will now become the final birthing place for my army of sons that are rising up and are becoming mighty warriors, for victory and glory.”

“Trouble is coming in the midst of the winds of change and will cause a great shifting, even darkness will come upon the earth. But also know that before I return, I will raise up an end time kingdom of priest, with great power and glory. They will be an army of sons and all will know that the systems of greed and avarice will be destroyed. A time of kingdom government will come forth with a new glory of my presence to replace the despair with life and with spiritual strength, Godly integrity and honor. It will take form out of the patterns that I have set before you in my word. I am opening up treasures in the midst of famine, and that which has been lost will be recovered. I will replace what is known now as lack and loss with spiritual grace and mercy, strength and restoration. Too much has been relied upon by men who have not sought me on how to rebuild and replenish. When evil men begin to try to develop their plans based on mindsets that have no Godly vision and no spiritual resolve there is confusion and darkness.”

“There will be a releasing of new life and light for healing in a time of weakness, there will be healing in a time of emptiness, and it will complete you in a time of uncertainty. So open up your eyes and heart as I minister to you inwardly with my mercy and my grace. Cry out for your loved ones. Cry out for this mercy and grace. My light will come to show you the way to go forward, even in times of darkness. In your cry I will speak to you, heal you, reveal you and raise you up. Come forth and allow me to transform you anew. Your cry is significant in this hour for this is what you have been prepared for and it is what I have called you to. So arise and take your place in the earth as my disciples of righteousness.”

Men have brought forth a system that was been built like Babel and in the coming days you will see the fall of that kingdom before your eyes.”

You can turn the captivity of the people and land through prayer and walking out the apostolic and prophetic mandate of this hour without faltering. It is time to set yourselves over the nations praying, decreeing and declaring over kingdoms to root out, to pull down and to throw down, by destroying the present evil systems, and to build, and to plant everywhere the kingdom of God.”

“In my word you will see the importance of how my apostles released and walked out a strategy for kingdom building by planting and establishing sound doctrine, houses of prayer, while ushering in worldwide evangelism and laying the foundation of the baptism of the Holy Spirit.”

“In my word you will see the importance of how my prophets acted upon my instructions and keys were released to unlock mysteries and destroy the works of darkness and destruction. Know that I have set an appointed time and my timing is sure.”

“In my word you will see the enemy will rise up and in order to try to gain more power, they will challenge and fight even within their own ranks. They will fight each other, evil nation against evil nation, and evil kingdoms against evil kingdoms.”

Isaiah 19:2 I will set up the Egyptians against the Egyptians and they shall fight everyone with his brother, every one against his neighbor, city against city, kingdom against kingdom.

“Search out my word for my answers are there before you. I will open my word and it will speak to you in greater levels and dimensions of understanding than you have ever known. My people are ready and hungry for truth in this hour and I will meet with them in visitations and watching, says the Lord. So seek me and answer my call now as the time is fast approaching and the enemy is looking to usher in a new order but remember this is the hour of the birthing for my army of sons.”

Isaiah 23:11 He stretched out his hands over the sea, He shook the kingdoms, the Lord has given a command against the merchant city, to destroy it’s strongholds.

“It is also a time to understand that not only must you come into a new mindset of embracing my heavenly kingdom—but you also must come out of the thinking of the systems of this world in order to receive that which can only be acquired by my own hand. You must “come out from her” (the Babylonian system) and no longer rely on these things as your source for what you need. For even as my word says, that the kingdoms of this world will fall and will become the kingdoms of our God. These are the things which I have spoken to you about, so understand that you cannot cry for help from the effects of the worldly system while also allowing mammon to be your god. You must place your trust in me and the kingdom of God to provide for you and I will disperse from my hand that which you need.”

Matthew 6:24 No man serve two masters: for either he will hate the one and love the other; or else he will hold to one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

“And I shall even provide for you by taking the wealth of wicked systems and I will release it into the hands of the just. It is essential you understand these things because your provision that you truly seek comes from the endless resources of my riches in glory. The right to access has always been in my presence. There will be those who must change their thinking because their spiritual inheritance has always come from heaven and not from the world. The heavenly economy is far greater and has a never ending value to it. Embrace it now so that you may receive answers, open new resources, and you will be able to see beyond what the world has to offer which is short-lived. Many have been entangled by trying to hold on to something that they never really owned. Those things carry with them the faulty reasoning of having possessions no matter what the cost, which could cost you to a greater degree in the end. Know that I am your exceeding great reward and I am as a spring of living water in a dry place that will provide drink even in the darkest hours, says the Lord.”

Prophetic Intercession
Two major concerns are the visions that I have seen concerning infighting in our nation of the US. This is not just an imagined possibility but could become a very strong reality. It is very important that we cover this possibility with a canopy of prayer and the blood of Jesus. Israel is a grave concern as well—we must be stable, strong and leveled headed if we are going to be a strong help to Israel. One’s destiny is as vital as the other. But if there is envy and strife there in our nation our effectiveness to protect Israel becomes compromised and we will see confusion and every evil work. It could hinder our ability to lend strength and affects the fervency of our prayers at a very important time. The enemy’s strategy is keep us off course and we must be sharper than this in our reactions to things that have happened. We must stand in the gap for her (Israel).
Earthquakes have been very active at this time. Storms will continue come and go as we wind down to the end of this year—continue to store up and gather important necessities during this time. Lately I have been troubled about the water systems—so pray around possible sabotage around water systems.

The prophetic alert around the major cities are still in place—Texas is still on the watch list along with the other cities mentioned in November’s list. I also look to hear some major feedback from the regions of Russia, North Korea, Iran and China to the United States that will be a flexing of muscles with major strength and challenges.
I will be in before the Lord for the rest of the year I have had a strong feeling that 2013 will begin with serious trouble. Be in prayer with us as we stay before His presence in this hour.

8 developments this week you need to know about.

(Netanya, Israel, November 14, 2012) -- Night is falling here in the Holy Land. I was just emailing with a former U.S. presidential candidate about the latest developments here in Israel, and I thought I'd share the same information with you. Short version: it's been a challenging week. Here are 8 developments you need to know about.

1.) Syria and Israel have fired at each other multiple times for the first time since the Yom Kippur War in 1973.

2.) More than 160 rockets and mortars have been fired at Israeli towns in the southern tier by Iranian-backed Palestinian terrorists in Gaza since last Saturday, and more than 40 Israelis have been wounded.

3.) Under pressure from Egypt, Hamas is being told to stop firing rockets - and in the last 24 hours or so the rocket fire has slowed significantly. That said, four rockets were fired at southern Israel today (Wednesday), apparently by terrorists operating in the Sinai Peninsula.

4.) Moments ago, news broke that a top Hamas military commander was just killed in an IAF air strike. Now Israelis in the south are awaiting a possible new barrage of rockets from Gaza in retaliation. Still, Israeli officials believe they need to reestablish a deterrence factor by assassinating top Hamas leaders and thus raising the cost of rocket attacks.

5.) Meanwhile, the Palestinian leadership which has lost control of Gaza is moving towards unilaterally declaring a state. It is seeking a U.N. General Assembly vote recognizing the state. At this point, the U.N. vote is set for November 29th, which is the anniversary of the U.N. Partition Plan vote in 1947. Such a unilateral step would be in violation of the Oslo Accords signed by the PLO and Israel which disallows unilateral actions such as this.

6.) The Obama administration is pressuring Palestinian Chairman Mahmoud Abbas not to take unilateral steps, including with a personal phone call by President Obama to Abbas.

7.) Some media reports here say the Israelis are threatening to topple Abbas if he takes such unilateral actions in defiance of signed agreements.

8.) If this all weren't enough challenges, a new IAEA report due out this week will indicate that Iran is steadily moving its nuclear program into deep underground facilities and that there are now 2,700 centrifuges to enrich uranium located in the Fordow facility, close to the religious city of Qom.

As I note in my recently released e-book, ISRAEL AT WAR: "The corridor between Tel Aviv and Tehran is the most dangerous corridor on the planet. And make no mistake: Iran is already at war with the State of Israel. The radical mullahs in Tehran declared war against the Jewish state in 1979. They have been killing Israelis and other Jews ever since. Today, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his senior advisors are engaged in a high stakes diplomatic, financial and covert war to neutralize the Iranian nuclear threat before the mullahs -- driven by an apocalyptic, genocidal End Times theology -- get the Bomb and the means to deliver it. Now the question is: Will Netanyahu soon order his nation into a full scale, all-out war with Iran that could set the entire Middle East on fire?"

All that said, it should be noted that God is sovereign. As we continue to pray for the peace of Jerusalem in obedience to Psalm 122:6, the Lord continues to protect the people of Israel, and He loves all the inhabitants of the land, Israeli Jews, Israeli Arabs, Palestinian Arabs, Christians and Muslims. What's more, while there are serious tensions on the Gaza and Syrian borders, most of Israel is very safe. Tourism this year is at an all-time high. Indeed, the number of tourists coming into Israel in September was an all-time record. I've been here since Friday speaking at a pastors conference and I've never felt in danger. The challenges are real, but keep them in context that most Israelis and Palestinians are going about their daily lives without fear or interference. But please keep praying for peace, for wisdom for the leaders here, and for the followers of Jesus Christ to be a blessing to all the people here.

Preparing for Troubled Times - Part 3 by Kriston Couchey Divine Authority Everyone in Christ has individually been given the power to walk in divine authority and also benefit from the divine authority God has placed within His body. Jesus did not come to the earth to simply give a nice message of the kingdom. He demonstrated the authority of the kingdom with having real answers for the troubles of men.He healed the sick, cast out devils, raised the dead, fed thousands of hungry people, commanded turbulent weather to cease, and rose from the dead. There was no trouble Jesus was incapable of facing because he walked with the authority of heaven. And there is no trouble the sons of God are incapable of facing walking with the authority of heaven. Jesus said to His disciples, “All authority hath been given unto me in heaven and on earth.” This same Jesus who has all authority then gave it to men. He told the disciples, “I give to you the authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and on all the power of the enemy, and nothing by any means shall hurt you…” Binding and Loosing Jesus told Peter, “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind (declare to be improper and unlawful) on earth must be what is already bound in heaven; and whatever you loose (declare lawful) on earth must be what is already loosed in heaven.” (AMP) Jesus has given us the keys of divine authority to forbid on earth that which is already forbidden in heaven and release on earth what is already released in heaven. Everything Jesus did and said originated from heaven, every miracle, healing, teaching, and even his death which in heaven happened before the foundation of the world; all were expressing the kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven. The same keys of authority given to you and I are also intended to release the kingdom of God in the particular places and ways Father has called each to exercise His Divine authority. “…I’m also a man appointed under authority, with soldiers under me. I say to one, ‘Go,’ and he goes, and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes. I say to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and the servant does it.” ~The Centurion~ While some want to use the account of the centurion with great faith to inappropriately implement a worldly chain of command in the church, the point of this account was to show that great faith is knowing you are fully authorized under the authority of God Himself to exercise the divine authority of heaven. Divine authority carries with it all of the weight of heaven and flows from a rest that does not struggle to be executed, but confidently releases upon earth what is already established in heaven. If you have to work up faith, you don’t have the authority. If you have the authority, you simply command it to be and it is done. Authority to Meet Needs The kings of the Gentiles are lords over them, and those who have authority are given names of honour. But let it not be so with you; but he who is greater, let him become like the younger; and he who is chief, like a servant. For which is greater, the guest who is seated at a meal or the servant who is waiting on him? is it not the guest? but I am among you as a servant. ~Jesus~ Divine authority is not a hierarchal system built upon a chain of command, or dependent upon official titles of authority for its execution. Authority in the kingdom flows freely upon love relationships and not simply because of a titled position. Where the love of God has waned, titles become predominant, where the love of God flows titles are not predominant and men recognize and receive more easily TRUE divine authority. Those with true divine authority do not need to relate to others based upon a position, but relate fulfilling a function of love and service. The exercise of Divine authority is to serve the needs of others as provision for them from Father in whatever their need may be. Jesus is the prime example of one who came to serve the unmet needs of men; exercising divine authority out of love and service to men. Everything We Need …his divine power has granted unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness… In Jesus Christ we have available to us everything we need. He is our divine wisdom, unity, provision, and authority; sufficient for all things and all times of trouble and need. Our preparation is to walk as sons in His rest that releases in us and through us the divine realities of His being.This is the kingdom of God; Christ in us manifesting His will and kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. To prepare for troubled times we need discernment to walk hearing and obeying the Spirit of God as to our own divine authority, not substituting positions or titles among men for true divine authority. We must also recognize and receive the divine authority that rests upon others. When we receive His divine authority upon the lives of others, we truly receive Him. As we personally execute and express divine authority upon the earth we are manifesting Him and His kingdom to men; which is what is truly needed in both peaceful times and troubled times. Happenings in the natural are now difficult if not impossible to understand with only physical senses. Now we shift to rely on our spiritual senses to not only see and understand these things, but to know what to do. God’s written word forewarns us of the times and the signs of the times. We are not left to our own humanly devices to get us through; nor are we destined to just get through, but to arise and shine in these times. We know the promises of the word. Your Prayers Can Change History

The 2012 Presidential Election will be a deciding factor on the course of the United States of America. Let us be praying up until the polls close that the Lord will have His way and have mercy on the United States.  Be prayerful about your vote and take some time with Father God to hear Him.  It is the most important election in U.S. history and America is standing in the balance.  We are admonished to pray for those in authority over us that we might live a quiet, peaceful and Godly life.  Let each one be a tool in God's hands and trust that as we do our part, God will have His way even in the storms of everyday life.

Continue to pray for those also who are going through great difficulty after Sandy and are still without power and the necessities of everyday life and that homes be found quickly for these people. It is at times like this that a Nation needs to come together and those in authority need to step up to the plate and serve.  The people of Staten Island and Hoboken, N.J. have been crying out for help and our hearts go out to them.  We pray that they and all affected have a speedy recovery.  JESUS IS THE ONLY ANSWER TO THE STORMS OF LIFE SO LET US BE QUICK TO CALL ON HIS NAME!

 2 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; ² For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.³ For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; ⁴ Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 1 Tim. 2:1-4

 

Watch and Pray

Scripture tells us to watch and pray and that the fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.There is great power in prayer and it changes situations and Nations.  Let us believe the Lord together for His hand to move in the US as hurricane Sandy comes ashore and that it will NOT cause great destruction.  Also for divine protection over God's children and that all fear be removed. We can move the hand of God IF we pray. Let us pray that people will call on the name of the Lord during this time and see that He (Jesus) is real. We know that Father God uses circumstances to draw men and women to himself.  We ask Jesus that the enemy would not have his way but that you somehow get praise and glory out of this situation, in Jesus name.

FLIPPING THE SWITCH

In the scope of time and eternity the western world has fleeting moments remaining to flip a big switch that will change the destiny of nations.

I was awakened a little after three in the morning (Wednesday October 24) with a full out scream coming from the depths of my being. I felt no urgency of fear or pain in any form. It came from deeper than my soul. The primal scream came from the Spirit realm as an urgent warning with a promise of glory.

Like a train rolling down a track will continue on toward the destination of that track unless a rail switch is thrown that changes the train to another track and toward another destination, so it is with the nations of this world.

“Chose you this day whom you will serve.”

Just before Joshua passed away he called the people together and gave them a strong word from God. Basically God set before them life and death.

God reminded them of all that He had done for them as a nation throughout their journey of history. He reminded them of how their fathers had lived on the other side of the river and served other gods and how He had brought them across the river to serve Him in the land He gave them. God reminded them how He drove out before them the enemies who had possessed the land so that they lived in cities they had not built and ate from orchards and vineyards they had not planted. God had blessed and prospered the people. They had victory in all the wars they had fought against those who hated them and their God.

God is again speaking to us as He spoke through Joshua. I hear the Lord speaking similar things to us today as Joshua spoke to the people before he died.

Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the River, and in Egypt; and serve you the LORD. And if it seems evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom you will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

And the people answered and said, God forbid that we should forsake the LORD, to serve other gods.

And Joshua said unto the people, You cannot serve the LORD: for he is a holy God; he is a jealous God; he will not forgive your transgressions nor your sins.

And the people said unto Joshua, Nay; but we will serve the LORD.

If you forsake the LORD, and serve foreign gods, then he will turn and do you harm, and consume you, after that he has done you good.

And Joshua said unto the people, You are witnesses against yourselves that you have chosen the LORD, to serve him. And they said, We are witnesses.

Now therefore put away, said he, the foreign gods which are among you, and incline your heart unto the LORD God of Israel.

And the people said unto Joshua, The LORD our God will we serve, and his voice will we obey.

So Joshua made a covenant with the people that day, and set them a statute and an ordinance in Shechem.

Therefore it shall come to pass, that as all good things are come upon you, which the LORD your God promised you; so shall the LORD bring upon you all evil things, until he has destroyed you from off this good land which the LORD your God has given you. When you have transgressed the covenant of the LORD your God, which he commanded you, and have gone and served other gods, and bowed yourselves to them; then shall the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and you shall perish quickly from off the good land which he has given unto you.

Two related enormous fundamental problems face the western world today.

The first and most significant problem is that the western world has largely turned from the one true God to other gods.

The second problem stems from the first.

The second most significant problem that threatens to end life as we have known it among the western nations is a rapidly approaching Islamic takeover attempt.

Speaking nationally, if the first problem is not remedied quickly the second problem will rapidly come to pass with catastrophic results.

Still speaking as a nation, this train is already on the track and rolling ahead toward an apocalyptic event.

The Kingdom is coming forth it is the nations that will be train wrecked.

The final end destination is the kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven. However, our nationally turning away from the true God to our many other gods has caused a great cavern to be opened ahead for western nations completely severing the track so that if the train continues on it will plunge into the cataclysmic cavern before reaching the final destination.

The train must be slowed and a big switch thrown to direct the train of western nations on to another track that will bypass the huge cavern and avoid the gigantic train wreck. The Lord must become the engineer moving us as a nation down a yet difficult but much better track route toward the final destination of the fullness of the kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven.

I don’t think it necessary to define here the many gods western nations have come to worship instead of the one true God. They begin with the god of self and go on through gods like mammon, pleasure, materialism, intellectualism, sports religious forms, and so on. Lust of the eyes and pride of life have caused us as nations to make gods of the things of this world.

The Big Switch

Switching from degradation to spiritual moral revitalization is a small step for man but a giant leap for the western nations and the world. The switch is in your heart and mine. It is completely and forever switching from the track of self, from “me and my” to His.

From my needs to His supply,
From my religious views and ways to His kingdom,
From my lack to His abundance,
From my fears and insecurities to His HOPE,
From my doubt and unbelief to His FAITH,
From my apathy and uncaring to His LOVE,
From my discouragement and depression to His JOY,
From my obsessive stress to His PEACE,
From my striving to His righteousness,
From my life in this past world to His life in His kingdom.

We will not eliminate the past by focusing upon it and running on the same old track. We will forever leave the past to live in the now by switching the train from the old track to the new track by spiritual transformation to sons of God crucified, with Christ but alive unto God as Christ lives abundantly within us.

The kingdom of God involves all life spiritual and natural as one.

The switch to the track of kingdom living now in this world and the rule of God on earth over all the nations of the world involves the powerful life of God working by His love in and through every child of God in every area of natural life on earth education, media, governments, agriculture, energy, manufacturing, distribution, transportation, housing, health care, and every other area of human production to meet the needs of mankind and the world around us.

Spiritual is as spiritual does. The Spirit of Christ is to invade ALL areas of life in this world. Every working structure or organism will have its center and its root firmly in the DNA of Christ by the Holy Spirit of God. It will be under the headship of Christ the King in mature sons of God doing all the works to reform or transform the world into the kingdoms of our God.

Any national spirit that is not so, will not survive and will be dissolved from the earth by the fire of the love of God. The spirits over nations must be changed to the Spirit of Christ Jesus. Anything else ruling over nations is a spirit of anti-Christ and such God will destroy.

Throw the switch now to the Spirit of God and receive the abundant HOPE and JOY of the kingdom reality now manifesting on earth. Shout for JOY and PRAISE God for the peace that passes all human understanding and exceeds all human desires with the GLORY of God covering the part of earth upon which we walk, that which is under the feet of Christ Jesus in us. Come to the Spirit gathering taking place now.

You are come unto mount Zion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,
To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, who are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,

And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaks better things than that of Abel.

See that you refuse not him that speaks. For if they escaped not who refused him that spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape, if we turn away from him that speaks from heaven:

Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he has promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.

And this word, Yet once more, signifies the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.

Therefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:

For our God is a consuming fire. (Hebrews 12:22-26)

The Joy of the Lord is Our Strength.

DISTURBING DAYS

It doesn't take a genius mind to know that we are in some terrible times here in the earth! Wars wars and more threats of wars! Economic pressures, ungodly rulers, missiles aimed and ready to blow up other countries, child abductions and murders are on the rise and we have had odd and bizarre weather patterns! And these events all can occur in just one week's worth of change!

I hear the Holy Spirit bringing a clear word of comfort and help to His people who have ears to hear what He is saying to them. Those that are determined to follow the voice of the Good Shepherd and not strange voices.



John 10:5

And a stranger will they not follow,
But will flee from him:
For they know not the voice of strangers.


HEARTS OF BROKENNESS
The days have seemingly turned darker, uncertain, and frenzied as media reporters shell out the hyped newscasts of doom and despair. And although much of what is being reported may be actually happening, it is intentionally ratcheted up to keep viewing polls well oiled and operating.

All of the noise pollution and the droning voices of the media personalities can weary and weigh down the heart of those who have a compassionate and sensitive spirit or heart. And. Often through all of the pressure filled „minute by minute live‰ reporting, people can become restless and fearful, anxiety ridden, and heavy laden with so much hitting them.


Proverbs 12:25
Anxiety in a man's heart weighs it down,
But a good word makes it glad.

IT IS A CRAZY WORLD WE LIVE IN AND IT'S NOT GOING TO GET EASIER AS CORRUPTION AND WICKEDNESS CONTINUE TO PLAY TOGETHER!

WHAT CAN WE DO?
Although we are not to be totally ignorant of what is occurring around us and live in recluse mentalities, the Lord does have a greater plan and focus for us during such tough times.

You and I as children of God will never really feel at home here on planet Earth. We have been Divinely implanted with a spiritual device deep in our spirits that longs for the "Home of Heaven".

No more tears, no more night, no more longing to fully be-long! We have been walking a pathway of preparation, each of us in different stages of our lives, to transition from this decaying world and body into a heavenly place of resurrection and eternal abundant life.

It's the living here now that is so like rough grit sandpaper to our nerve endings!


2 Timothy 4:18

The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack
And will bring me safely to his heavenly kingdom.
To him be glory for ever and ever



Psalm 61:3

For You have been a shelter and a refuge for me,
A strong tower against the adversary.


We are in much need of a directional adjustment as believers right now, a redirecting of the compass, as the world turns itself upside down with malice, dictatorships, and political posturing.

We need to be certain that nothing of the world and its behaviors is hidden in our own hearts. We must hear that Magnetic pulling voice of the Holy Spirit, and obey it without turning left or right.


Deuteronomy 5:32

So be careful to do what the LORD your God has commanded you; Do not turn aside to the right or to the left.


The Spirit of the Lord is calling out to His people in this very very serious and crucial moment to allow Him your ears that hear and your eyes that see to discern where the compass for your soul is located! It points to a dwelling place of Divine Rest and Protection.

There is a hidden deep place of safety only revealed to those of pure motive and clean hands.


THE LORD IS CALLING OUT TO YOU AND I
"Come to Me! Run to Me! I know that you are heavily burdened by all of the concentrated pressures mounting around you. Run to the Dwelling place of Divine Rest and Protection! It will require you laying down the things that so easily set you off and get you weighed down with concern and anxiety.

1 Peter 5:7
Casting the whole of your cares
All your anxieties,
All your worries,
All your concerns,
Once and for all on Him.
For He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully.


"Come to the simple place.
Huddle into the shadow of My Wings for,

I AM the Refuge for the child that heeds My voice and runs to Me, abandoning self made plans for protection and self-preservation.

I AM your shield,

I AM your Fortress.

But you must come to the Refuge with no agenda in your heart or a Message on your lips. You come to the Resting Place of Safety from the Storm to WAIT, Ponder, Rest and rethink your Life call.


Psalm 5:11

But let all who take refuge in you be glad;
Let them ever sing for joy.
Spread your protection over them,
That those who love your name may rejoice in you.


CONTINUAL SAFETY
When we walk in the way of surrender and tenderness with our ears attuned to the still small voice of God, we actually walk in the Overshadowing safety of the Presence of God. Training our spiritual ears to hear the voice of the Father is a lifetime guarantee of knowing when the storms or troubles will arise and is a promise for direction to a place of Divine Protection and direction whenever needed.


Psalm 16:9

Therefore my heart is glad
And my tongue rejoices;
My body also will rest secure

Rest Child of God. REST!

It is the hardest thing for the mind and body to do! Learning to rest when the world is screaming at a fevered pitch, "WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO NOW" is a hard-learned yet reachable discipline if we will lean into it and ask for God‚s help.

Hear the Voice of God calling you to enter into His rest. It is a place of pleasant simplicity and uncluttered doctrine. His Presence silences all of the noise of the day and noise of the Head.


HIS PRESENCE IS A REFUGE FOR THE WEARY
Dear child of God! There is no judgment or shame there.
It is a restful place of learning to take up an easy yoke and a light burden.

Perhaps right now, as you listen to this audio podcast or read this...
...You might just sit back and "Enter in to the Refuge of God".

Lay down the weight of worry and frustration. The anger at life all bottled up in rage and gloom! All you need to take with you into the shelter is a willing heart. Ready to trust the Divine Protector and Provider.

Enter...

...Into His Rest.


Psalm 33:22

May your unfailing love rest upon us,
O LORD, even as we put our hope in you.
